I’ve never gotten my questions answered.
With domestic adoption and international adoption, it is much more complicated.
The answers aren’t always there and as easily accessible. Especially if it is an international adoption with a language barrier.

Hello, I’m Madison Archer and I am an international adoptee from Guatemala. I was adopted at the age of six months to a great family!
I knew from the very beginning that I was an international adoptee from Guatemala. Growing up, I had questions of why this and why that, but nobody else could provide the answers I needed.
I’ve always dreamed about visiting my home country one day.
My parents made it happen. As it was always their plan to take me home to visit. In July of 2018, I visited Guatemala for the first time. I met my birth family as well.
I had a feeling that Guatemala would be special, but I didn’t know how big of an impact it would have played on my life.
